Message	I can't believe that they aren't giving you a rental car until this is all settled. Keep fighting with the adjusters. Just be persistent and polite with them. Keep moving up the chain as much as possible. Definitely contact a lawyer and start proceedings against this kid in civil court. Either way, the insurance company will have to pay the bill. But, be warned. As soon as you contact a lawyer and he/she contacts the insurance company, the insurance company will no longer deal with you directly. At that point, all communications will have to go through your lawyer.
